About the Role Direct Support Professional at Sevita Health (ResCare Community Living) helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently at home and in the community. You’ll build real relationships, support daily living skills, and promote participation in community activities under a person-centered approach. You’ll work with a dedicated team and leaders to do what’s right for participants. What You'll Do
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
- Build trust with leaders to do what’s right for participants.
- Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
- Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
