About the Role Direct Support Professional at Sevita Health's ResCare Community Living location in Las Vegas supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently. You will provide person-centered supports, help participants develop skills, and enable participation in community life. What You'll Do
- Build real, meaningful relationships with the individuals served and support them to live well
- Assist with personal hygiene and care and support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
- Help participants achieve developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition) and participate in community activities
- Take initiative and demonstrate ownership to do what’s right for participants, under supervision
