About the Role Sevita Health's ResCare Community Living division seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently in Las Vegas, NV. You’ll provide person-centered support, help people build skills, and participate in community activities. What You'll Do
- Build meaningful relationships with individuals served and act as a trusted member of the care team.
- Help participants achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges or complex needs.
- Encourage community involvement and meaningful participation in activities.
- Demonstrate initiative and advocate for participants’ well-being and rights. What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
