About this role
About the Role Direct Support Professionals provide person-centered services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live more independently at home and in the community as part of Sevita’s ResCare Community Living team. This role focuses on empowering participants, building meaningful relationships, and supporting daily living and community participation. What You'll Do
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
- Support participants with daily living skills, personal hygiene, and community activities.
- Take initiative and operate with ownership and trust from leaders to do what’s right for participants.
- Help participants pursue developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
