About the Role Sevita Health's ResCare Community Living provides person-centered services to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in their community. As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll help participants grow, learn, and live well, forming real relationships and supporting everyday goals in a compassionate, team-based environment. What You'll Do
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve and support their participation in community activities.
- Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and engage in favorite activities.
- Assist with personal hygiene and provide support for individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs.
- Help participants pursue developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
