About the Role ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, provides quality services that empower individuals, enhance independence, and help people live well. This Direct Support Professional role partners with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to support independence at home and in the community. What You'll Do
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
- Build ownership and trust from your leaders to do what’s right for participants
- Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
- Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
