About the Role Sevita's REM Community Services provides community-based supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional in Tacoma, WA, you’ll join a mission-driven team to build meaningful relationships, support daily living, and help participants live well and stay active in their community. What You'll Do
- Build real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
- Support participants in the community and help them participate in activities they enjoy.
- Take initiative to do what’s right for participants under guidance from supervisors.
- Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs.
- Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
