About the Role Union Pacific is offering exciting opportunities to work on our extensive diesel locomotive fleet. As a valued member of our team, your primary objective will be to guarantee the safe and efficient servicing of locomotives while adhering to company and federal standards, contributing to the seamless transportation of goods across North America. What You'll Do
- Efficiently operate equipment including measuring instruments, precision machines, hand tools, and material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, overhead hoists).
- Communicate technical information, job briefing information, job procedure recommendations, and other work-related information verbally, in writing, by telephone, radio, and intercom.
- Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, graphs, and charts, and input into a computer as needed.
