As a Diesel Electrician, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems across locomotives of various ages and models, performing scheduled inspections and maintenance to keep operations safe and reliable. What You'll Do
- Utilize schematics and location circuit plans to conduct scheduled electrical inspections and circuit tests on various components.
- Perform maintenance and repair of electrical components in locomotive cabs or electrical compartments, adhering to company and industry standards.
- Carry out equipment maintenance in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems and components to determine the root cause of problems.
