About the Role Design Engineer in Nanjing for HELLA, responsible for planning and drafting design solutions for automotive lighting devices, coordinating with customers and internal teams to meet quality, cost, and timing targets. What You'll Do
- Clarify design requirements with the customer and analyze design expenditures with the supervisor.
- Agree and monitor targets for device design with the project manager, considering quality, costs, and timing.
- Plan, coordinate and control design tasks using prescribed methods and Time to Market processes.
- Involve internal and external services, balancing economic, qualitative and scheduling viewpoints with the supervisor.
- Participate in defined escalation scenarios when deviations occur in device design.
