About this role
About the Role As an Optical inspection engineer you will provide technical and sustaining engineering support for the power semiconductor manufacturing line. You will implement equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products. What You'll Do
- Lead defect identification, classification, and root cause analysis to determine physical and process-related failure modes impacting product quality and yield.
- Manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities including defect dispositioning, hold management, and technical review of non-conforming materials to ensure proper corrective actions.
- Perform Pareto analysis on defect data to prioritize improvement initiatives and drive systematic reduction of top defect modes across manufacturing operations.
