About the Role
Joining Mercedes-Benz Group AG to build and operate a data platform delivering flexible and secure ingestion, streaming, transformation, analytics and data lake storage with self-service compute & ML workspaces. The role enables in-house data teams to spin up services and create pipelines as per business requirements. What You'll Do
- Hands-on development and operations on AWS or Azure for production-grade data platforms
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS) and Databricks environments
- Build and maintain data pipelines and orchestration using Azure Data Factory, AWS Data Pipeline, Apache Spark, and Databricks
- Work with stream and batch processing systems: Kafka (Confluent cloud / open source), Apache Spark Streaming, Apache Flink, Apache Storm, and Kappa architectures
