About the Role The Customer Account Manager drives internal business growth by effectively serving existing brokerage clients and coordinating with NFI's personnel sourcing carriers. This role reports to the Customer Ops Manager or Director of Business Development and focuses on maximizing service levels and profitability across FTL, LTL, and intermodal operations.
What You'll Do
- Effectively manage customer relationships and negotiate rates and services with clients for FTL, LTL, and intermodal shipments.
- Support sales resources and develop/implement SOPs for each account managed by the operations group; maintain service concepts and rates.
- Position brokerage services within the NFI network and respond to sales inquiries with pricing and proposals as applicable.
