About the Role
Columbia University is seeking a registered nurse to serve as a part-time Student Research Worker in the School of Nursing. The nurse will participate in a pilot study testing a 12-week nurse-led intervention to reduce heart disease risk among sexual minority adults. Evening hours may be required; ideal candidates have experience delivering health education and comfort working with diverse communities.
What You'll Do
- Conduct all research activities following study protocols and institutional regulations to safeguard the confidentiality of study participants.
- Assist in the completion of in-person participant visits.
- Administer study questionnaires.
- Provide support for virtual and in-person intervention sessions.
- Provide weekly participant and recruitment updates.
- Assist with database design, security, data storage, and management.
