About the Role Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Critical Environment Field Service Engineer (FSE) to maintain and repair critical environment systems for Microsoft data centers on-site in Stavanger, Norway. The FSE will help ensure high availability and uptime by performing preventive maintenance, rapid fault isolation, and coordinated issue resolution with CO+I teams. What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical environment equipment (power distribution, cooling, environmental controls, and related infrastructure) within Microsoft data centers.
- Perform preventive maintenance, conditional monitoring, and basic predictive tasks to avoid outages.
- Respond to on-site field service incidents with safety, quality, and timely problem resolution.
