About the Role
The Union Vicinage is seeking a Court Interpreter who is bilingual in English and Spanish and able to interpret in sight, consecutive, and simultaneous modes in court proceedings, quasi-judicial hearings, complementary dispute resolution events, and other court-related settings, either in person, virtually, or via telecommunications. The interpreter should be familiar with courtroom protocols and adhere to the highest ethical standards; translations of signage and other documents may be required.
What You'll Do
- Interpret in English and Spanish in court proceedings, quasi-judicial hearings, and related events in sight, consecutive, and simultaneous modes, in person or remotely.
- Assist in procurement and assignment of contract interpreters and related paperwork.
