About the Role Guidehouse is seeking a Corrections Medical Coder to review multi-specialty inpatient and outpatient charge correction requests for ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding accuracy and to make necessary corrections. The role involves evaluating LCD/NCD criteria and billing guidelines, reporting changes to collections teams, and electronically filing replacement claims as needed. Training is M-F onsite for about 3-6 months, followed by a hybrid arrangement with roughly 90% remote work. What You'll Do
- Review multi-specialty inpatient and outpatient and clinical Charge Correction requests for ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding accuracy and implement corrections.
- Review LCD and NCD criteria and insurance billing guidelines.
- Report changes to collections teams.
- Electronically file replacement claims and perform some payment posting as needed.
