Controller
We are looking for a Controller to join our client's Corporate Finance Team and support the day-to-day management of accounting and finance functions, including preparing all financial reports, federal and state compliance and tax reporting, operating budgets, and internal accounting controls. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborate to develop and implement long-term financial goals. This Controller will serve as the Finance business partner to the management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to the preparation of federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
- Prepares supporting documents for the annual financial reports and annual tax return with outside CPA firm.
- Prepares documents supporting the monthly close process and month-end balances.
