About the Role Caterpillar’s Earth Moving division is hiring for a Control Systems Engineer in Peoria, IL. The role supports the Caterpillar Motor Grader team by developing and implementing control systems to improve performance, reliability, and integration with heavy equipment. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test and debug control system software and hardware integration for motor graders
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical teams to implement control strategies
- Troubleshoot and optimize real-time embedded control systems and instrumentation
- Support verification, validation, and field testing, and interface with internal stakeholders What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls Engineering or related field
- Experience with control systems, PLCs, sensors, actuators, and real-time control environments
