Reports To MD/CEO (with independent access to the Board)
Job Summary (Purpose of the Role) Ensures the bank complies with all CBN, NDIC, NFIU and other regulatory requirements, with particular responsibility for the AML/CFT/CPF programme, KYC standards and regulatory relationship management.
Job Responsibilities
- Review all new accounts opened daily for complete KYC documentation before activation.
- Screen customers against sanctions/PEP watchlists and approve or escalate exceptions.
- Monitor transactions for suspicious activity; file STRs and CTRs with the NFIU within regulatory timelines.
