The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist based in Markham, Ontario. This role supports the organization’s community engagement efforts in the local area and helps advance conservation initiatives through active collaboration with community partners.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of community engagement initiatives in Markham and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan outreach events, programs, and activities that promote conservation
- Represent The Nature Conservancy in local communities and build positive relationships with stakeholders and partners
- Assist in developing outreach materials and communications to raise awareness of conservation efforts
- Contribute to program logistics, volunteer coordination, and event execution as needed
