About the Role
The City of Bothell's Police Department is hiring a Community Engagement Coordinator / Public Information Officer to lead the creation and delivery of public communications, including news releases, social media, videos, PSAs, and campaigns. This role manages the department’s online presence, supports the City’s Communications Team, and builds media relationships. Schedule includes an option for 5/8 or 4/10 shifts with on-call requirements; position based in Bothell, WA with in-office work and intermittent remote ability.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage public communications programs including news releases, social media messaging, videos, PSAs, and outreach campaigns; plan, design, and implement these initiatives.
- Create multimedia content for internet, TV, and radio to support crime prevention, public safety, and community engagement initiatives.
