About the Role Proofpoint is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Field sales organization. This role reports to the Manager, Business Development and collaborates with regional sales and marketing to drive sales-accepted leads through a mix of inbound and outbound prospecting, supporting a France-focused account-based sales strategy. What You'll Do
- Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales accepted leads and respond to product inquiries, as well as follow up on all leads generated by marketing and convert initial interest into sales accepted leads.
- Gather actionable intelligence (competition, projects, purchase intent, etc.) for the accounts you are responsible for.
