Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Summary/Overview This position requires a person to perform set ups and operate CNC equipment to manufacture metal parts from raw material in a team based environment. Plans and performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical control machining centers to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specifications by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interprets complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.
- Read and understand blue prints.
- Performs diversified operations on numerical control machining centers.
- Performs a variety of milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.
- Reviews setup sheet and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished workpiece.
