The role focuses on developing CMM programs, performing validation trials, and driving quality through measurement excellence. What You'll Do
- Develop CMM programs for inspection, including simulation of programs, first piece trial, performance of repeatability trials, and independent comparison for validation
- Develop work instructions for all methods of inspections
- Evaluate results of inspections, identify causes of rejects due to erroneous inspection, and follow through with corrective actions
