GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Clinical Educator will coordinate and provide staff education and development activities including in-services and continuing education; facilitate groups and process improvement initiatives based upon identified needs; and assist with the orientation of clinical staff.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Links the mission, vision, values, and employee expectations (culture) of the Medical Center with all performance improvement activities.
- Works effectively with department leaders to achieve common educational expectations and goals.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates staff development and educational programs designed to meet the varied and specific needs of the clinical staff.
- Plans, coordinates, and implements orientation for clinical staff.
- Facilitates skill training and competency assessment based on identified needs.
