About this role
About the Role The Clinical Cytogeneticist will perform clinical interpretations of cases in karyotyping and FISH and will provide consultation to the medical community and TriCore clients. This role supports patient care by ensuring accurate interpretations and collaboration with clinicians. What You'll Do
- Provide support to the Cytogenetics department to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (including safety, CAP, and CLIA).
- Provide test interpretation and clinical consultation to laboratory and clinical service clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Genetic Counselors, if necessary, to improve medical outcomes and appropriateness of testing.
- Sign out clinical cases in concert with pathologist Medical Director.
- Participate in Abnormal Case Review for the cytogenetics department when requested. What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. in relevant field.
