About the Role Discovery Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our friendly cleaning team in Peterborough. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe environment for pupils and staff; it is physically demanding and may include some heavy lifting. You will work alongside the current team and have your own area of responsibility. What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain assigned areas to high standards (classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces).
- Undertake cleaning duties, keep facilities tidy, restock supplies, and report issues.
- Comply with health, safety and safeguarding policies; follow risk assessments.
- Work as part of the cleaning team to support a busy school environment.
- Assist with basic site duties as required, including moving cleaning equipment. What We're Looking For
