About the Role The Claims Examiner - Bilingual supports the warranty claims team by handling bilingual claims for major clients, interfacing with insureds, service contractors, and other stakeholders. This on-site role supports the warranty program across US-based operations and requires fluency in English and Spanish.
What You'll Do
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence concerning insurance and warranty claims in a professional manner
- Interface with insureds and other stakeholders on claims-related matters
- Investigate claims and determine whether to approve or deny
- Adjudicate and settle claims according to fair claims practices
- Be familiar with state statutes concerning claims practices
- Maintain knowledge of industry and asset coverage types
- Conduct research and prepare reports as delegated by management
