Responsibilities
- Receive payments from customers through cash, POS, bank transfers, or other approved payment methods.
- Accurately record and process all sales transactions.
- Issue receipts to customers for completed transactions.
- Count and verify cash received and ensure the cash register is properly balanced.
- Reconcile daily sales and cash collections with transaction records.
- Prepare and submit daily cash and sales reports to the appropriate supervisor.
- Handle customer enquiries and provide courteous and professional service.
- Ensure prices charged to customers are accurate and correspond with approved prices.
- Process refunds or cancellations only with proper authorization.
- Safeguard cash, POS terminals, receipts, and other payment-related materials.
