About the Role Campus Safety Officers are the core team of Occidental’s Campus Safety Department. They perform high visibility patrols, respond to emergencies, and provide safety services to deter crime and protect the campus community. What You'll Do
- Perform high visibility vehicle and foot patrols on campus and at adjacent rental homes, and at sorority/fraternity houses to deter crime and apprehend lawbreakers.
- Enforce parking and vehicle permit regulations.
- Respond to requests for assistance and to emergency calls, fire alarms, and intrusion alarms on campus and at rental homes.
- Prepare incident reports for supervisory review, generate work requests to correct deficiencies, and maintain a daily shift log.
- Provide safety escorts on and off campus and manage access to college buildings; provide presence at college-sponsored events on and off campus. What We're Looking For
