Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer for their team! Experience in purchasing is preferred for this direct-hire role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities of the Buyer
- Research products and compare prices
- Assess potential suppliers and solicit bids
- Obtain approval for purchase orders
- Track purchases and shipments
- Review requisition forms
- Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends
- Draft and manage vendor contracts
- Communicate with team members
- Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications of the Buyer
- Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with procurement software
- Attention to detail and strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
