About the Role Under general supervision, the Business Systems Analyst supports the enhancement of business-critical systems by analyzing vendor-provided software (COTS) and translating new functionality into business value. This role focuses on understanding and interpreting vendor documentation, identifying changes in system functionality, and communicating business impact to internal stakeholders—enabling more effective operations and decision-making within a regulated environment. What You'll Do
- Analyze and interpret vendor (COTS) documentation to identify changes, new features, and potential impacts to existing systems and processes.
- Compare existing requirements vs. new vendor functionality, highlighting gaps, risks, and required updates.
- Develop or modify moderately complex system requirements based on business needs and vendor updates.
