About the Role Arctic Wolf's BI Team runs the internal data platform used for analytics across Snowflake, Tableau, dbt Cloud, and Fivetran. As a BI - Snowflake Administrator, you will keep the data platform healthy in day-to-day operations, manage access and performance, and partner with data governance and security teams. This role is operations-focused: you administer the platform rather than redesign its architecture to support growing use cases.
What You'll Do
- Snowflake Administration: manage warehouses, databases, roles, user management, and resource monitors across environments; tune warehouse size and auto-suspend behavior.
- Query optimization: investigate slow or expensive queries using query profiles and collaborate with owners to address root causes rather than simply adding capacity.
