About the Role
Join Nutrient as a Backend Engineer focused on building robust and scalable backend systems powering the Document Engine and SaaS products. You’ll work with modern cloud technologies and distributed systems, designing high-performance solutions and reliable services that handle complex document processing at scale. This role combines architecture ownership with hands-on development in a remote-first team.
What You'll Do
- Execute on the design and implementation of high-performance Elixir/Phoenix-based systems such as Nutrient’s Document Engine and Web Services API.
- Design and build declarative infrastructure, robust, scalable and easy to observe and maintain (Terraform, Terramate and FluxCD).
- Share ownership for architecture, tools and services, contribute to product development and customer success.
