Automobile AC Technician
The Automobile AC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and installing air conditioning and climate control systems in vehicles while ensuring quality, safety, and optimal cooling performance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in vehicle air conditioning systems.
- Service, repair, and maintain automotive AC systems and components.
- Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, and related components.
- Detect and repair refrigerant leaks using appropriate testing equipment.
- Recharge and recover refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on vehicle AC systems.
- Test electrical circuits, relays, thermostats, sensors, and control units related to air conditioning systems.
