About this role
About the Role Pearson's Evaluation Systems offers teacher licensure testing and scoring services. As an Associate, Scoring Services, you will support the evaluation of responses from Georgia teacher candidates, apply scoring standards, and participate in consensus scoring to uphold professional standards. This is a remote, part-time role supporting the Hadley, MA scoring program. What You'll Do
- Evaluate responses to test questions by Georgia teacher candidates.
- Internalize scoring standards, participate in discussions, and engage in consensus scoring.
- Recognize and discuss bias types (implicit bias, cultural bias, leniency bias, central tendency bias, halo effect) and apply strategies to reduce personal biases in scoring.
- Meet quality and productivity requirements, including passing a qualifying test before scoring.
