Organizational context The UNESCO Office in Jordan works closely with the national authorities to preserve and promote tangible and intangible cultural heritage in the country. It particularly works in close collaboration and partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Department of Antiquities, and the Ministry of Culture, as well as relevant national and local authorities, to ensure the sustainable conservation of the country’s rich cultural heritage.
