Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering
This role will support the machining manufacturing areas through focus on continuous improvement and the attainment of safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Responsible for manufacturing engineering support activities to support Jackson manufacturing operations as outlined below.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Drives continuous improvement principles throughout the machine shop. Day to day manufacturing process support of production teams (methods, tooling, equipment, problem solving). Provides resources required by the shop floor to meet objectives in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (drawings, time studies, development of production rates, routing maintenance, REA & ECN processing, capacity planning, work center maintenance, new product quoting, standard work development, and P-order (prototype) tracking).
