About the Role Hofstra University seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Associate Director of Development to advance the University’s philanthropic priorities through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospects and donors. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development, this role builds relationships with donors and prospects and serves as the primary development liaison to an assigned College, School, or strategic priority, focusing on leadership annual fund and mid-level gifts to grow Hofstra’s donor base. What You'll Do
- Actively manages a portfolio of approximately 150-200 leadership annual fund prospects and donors, with a focus on securing gifts of $5,000 or more.
- Conducts a minimum of 140 substantive prospect visits and meaningful donor engagements annually.
