About the Role
The Associate Director of Development for the Lerner College of Business & Economics is responsible for major gift fundraising (gifts of $50,000+) and will identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors for the college. Reports to the Senior Director of Development and collaborates with college leadership, faculty, and staff.
What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of 50 to 75 qualified major giving prospects; solicit gifts of $50,000+; move prospects through qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship across a three-year window.
- Develop and execute solicitation plans; prepare draft proposals and recognition opportunities; deliver thoughtful communication to close gifts; maintain knowledge of college/university programs and priorities.
