About the Role
The Assoc Category Specialist is responsible for purchasing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in line with company policies, optimizing price, delivery, and terms. You will ensure timely supply of food ingredients and packaging, align with global procurement standards, and collaborate with R&D and QC to optimize supplier bases and specifications while driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Ensure timely provision of production with the necessary food ingredients and packaging in accordance with quality requirements.
- Work in accordance with the company's Global Policy, procurement systems, and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies for the procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Build a reliable supplier base, conduct negotiations at local and international levels, and conclude contracts.
