About the Role The Department of Physician Assistant Studies in the School of Health Professions is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track assistant/associate professor to teach in our Master of Science program. This twelve-month position requires a 24-credit annual teaching workload, including didactic and clinical year students; student advisement, remediation, and retention; university committee participation; and self-assessment evaluation as per ARC-PA and university standards.
What You'll Do
- Teach didactic and clinical year students: lectures, laboratories and small group learning
- Provide remediation instruction to ensure student success
- Review and update PA syllabi and curricula
- Work collaboratively with members of the PA and university faculty/administration
- Advise students in both didactic and clinical years
- Participate in clinical site visits as needed
