About this role
SUEZ is seeking a motivated Assistant Technical Plant Engineer to support our energy-from-waste, landfill, and resource recovery facilities across the UK. This is a hands-on role involving work on electrical systems, supporting operational teams, and contributing to projects that improve plant reliability, performance, and safety. The position is UK-wide with national travel required, and offers 37.5 hours per week. Salary is £37,878, with benefits including a company car or car allowance (up to £6,787.80 per annum), an annual bonus up to 10%, 25 days’ holiday plus 8 bank holidays, and a 3x life assurance policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure across SUEZ sites, assisting with fault finding, maintenance activities, and operational improvements.
