About the Role The Assistant Store Manager supports the store leadership team in day-to-day operations, drives store performance, and develops the team by implementing action plans and managing schedules to meet Aldi's goals. What You'll Do
- Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
- Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
- Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports to drive improved performance.
- Understand and model Aldi's core values and overall strategy to foster teamwork and belonging.
- Monitor the competitive environment and advise adjustments to maintain Aldi's competitive position.
