About the Role Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and help maintain the physical integrity of the property. The role collaborates with the leasing team to maximize renewal and leasing opportunities, while ensuring all duties are performed safely and in accordance with company policies. What You'll Do
- Address service requests from residents within 24 hours and manage the system for handling requests.
- Schedule on-call rotations and assist with service as needed.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance, make-ready status of vacant apartments, and equipment maintenance.
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance on equipment; inspect and maintain tools.
- Diagnose and perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, doors, fixtures, roofing, lighting, and related systems.
