About the Role Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance who supports the maintenance supervisor and helps uphold the property's physical integrity while collaborating with the leasing team to maximize renewals and leasing opportunities. This role emphasizes safety and compliance with company policies. What You'll Do
- Respond to resident service requests (aim to complete within 24 hours) and manage the system for handling requests.
- Schedule on-call rotations for staff and assist with service as needed.
- Maintain records for preventive maintenance, service requests, and make-ready status of vacant apartments.
- Perform minor and routine maintenance on equipment; diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and related systems; inspect tools and keep them in good condition.
