About this role
The Assistant Director, Data Strategy will support the development of data acquisition and partnership strategies that build data assets and capabilities underpinning Moody’s products. This role is well suited for someone with strong analytical judgment, curiosity, and excellent written communication skills. Working closely with senior data strategists and cross-functional partners, you will help shape how the organization translates customer needs into sourcing decisions that support future products.
- Assess market dynamics, customer requirements, and data availability to identify high-impact data opportunities
- Translate evolving customer needs and product priorities into clear data sourcing requirements and actionable recommendations
- Prepare market assessments, vendor comparisons, and sourcing recommendations to inform investment and negotiation decisions
