About the Role LIU seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to support the head coach in all aspects of the LIU Men’s Lacrosse program. This full-time position includes assisting with practice planning, player development, recruitment, and program administration, contributing to a competitive and positive team environment.
What You'll Do
- Coaching and Leadership: Collaborate with the head coach to implement effective coaching strategies that develop players’ technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall performance. Foster a team culture rooted in discipline, accountability, and sportsmanship.
- Recruitment: Participate in scouting and recruiting efforts to identify and attract top talent. Build and maintain relationships with high school coaches, club programs, and prospective student-athletes.
