About the Role Assembler II – Electrical on 1st shift supports the design, assembly, and installation of electrical controls for Dover Food Retail display cases. This role works with engineering on new products, mounts enclosures, runs wiring, and ensures compliance with recognized electrical standards. The position emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and knowledge transfer to others. What You'll Do
- Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine materials and sequence
- Create formal documentation for controller assembly function
- Assemble electrical controls for all assembly areas
- Mount electrical enclosures on cases and electrical devices in cabinets and on structural surfaces
- Run wiring, cables, and conduit in accordance with UL471, NEMA, NEC standards
